Eric designed Banneker Hall's Renovation when he was working at EYP as a project architect.

Banneker Hall was named in honor of Benjamin Banneker (1731-1806), an inventor best known for making the first striking clock completely built in America. Banneker Hall was originally constructed as a library and renovated in 1977 for Communications Study. After the construction of the New Communications Center, it was renovated in 2009 to house the School of Education & Urban Studies and is located on the Academic Quad.
